Premiere at NFMLA!

NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) describes its July Monthly festival as including the annual InFocus: Canadian Cinema program, which “spotlights independent Canadian storytellers with support from Telefilm Canada and the Québec Government Office in Los Angeles, and community partnership with its longstanding partner, the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles.”

The festival’s second screening program, InFocus: Canadian Cinema II, presents a selection of Canadian films that “push back against the status quo… navigate family dynamics, process grief, and highlight personal and communal resilience.”

Tire-toi une bûche will screen as part of this second program at NFMLA’s July 2026 edition.

More information can be found on the NFMLA website.
